A day earlier, there was stone pelting on a procession taken out on the occasion of Ram Navami, after which security was increased in the entire area.पश्चिम बंगाल के हावड़ा में लगातार दूसरे दिन भी हिंसा का दौरा जारी रहा। वहाँ के शिवपुर इलाक़े में दूसरे दिन भी जमकर पथराव किया गया। लगातार दूसरे दिन वहाँ कई दुकानों को निशाना बनाया गया। जिसकी वजह से पूरे इलाक़े में तनाव बढ़ गया। जिसके बाद एक बार फिर सुरक्षा बल ने वहाँ मोर्चा संभाल लिया और पूरे इलाक़े में फ्लैग मार्च किया। एक दिन पहले वहां रामनवमी के मौक़े पर निकाले गए जुलूस पर पथराव हुआ, जिसके बाद पूरे इलाक़े में सुरक्षा बढ़ा दी गई।
